When I was approached by Naked Vegas and asked to be part of the team, I was like, "
Daaaaaaaaaam!!! Vegas better be ready for me - 'cause Wiser is rollin' on thru!!!"
I know I was initially brought on the team because of my no-fear approach to body painting, and fine art optical illusions - both of which I attribute to my life long passion for graffiti. The world is my canvas - it don't matter if it's a 20 foot wall, a shoe, or a curvy nude model, I got paint in my hand and i'm ready to create!
Joining the Naked Vegas team was easy since I already had known and painted alongside Nix for years and I even knew Heather from body painting her at a couple of different events. Working as a team with experienced, creative and focused body painting artists is a great opportunity to push my creativity and work on large scale body painting projects.
The first order of business I
had to take care of when I moved into the Naked Vegas studio, was painting a mural up in that place!!!
I ain't gonna be workin' surrounded by four white walls!!! lol.
As an independent artist, I know that every painting has to be my next masterpiece, because I never know who is going to see my work. Maintaining my consistent high standards, expanding my variety of canvases, and following my passion definitely got me where I am today. Just like when I found out that the body of work that the Naked Vegas crew was putting out caught the eye of the SyFy Network, I was ready for the challenge! That is what following your passion is all about!!!
Since the network was interested in developing a show that would showcase the
process of body painting and not delve into my private life, I was ready to stir the masses and paint some shit that would drop jaws! Get your cameras ready and let me show you just how far our imaginations really can reach into the world of body painting...
